Cheshire Spraying Services
Spray-painting business owner Jack was overpaying for web hosting and maintenance and was unable to get out of his contract with the previous web design company. Fortunately, GreatSite 4U were able to come to the rescue!
In 2023, GreatSite 4U’s Nick Jones got chatting to Haslington business owner Jack Turner about websites, as Jack was spray-painting Nick’s front door (note: this was agreed in advance and Jack was spraying the whole door a new colour – he’s not Haslington’s answer to Banksy!). Naturally, the conversation turned to web design, as many of GS4U’s clients are tradesmen, and we’re firm believers that every tradesmen should have a simple but effective website for their business.
Jack explained that he already had a website and was reasonably happy with it, except for one thing: the cost. He was paying £100 a month for hosting and maintenance, but as far as he could tell he wasn’t getting much in terms of service to justify that cost. While the site was getting the occasional enquiry, it wasn’t enough to justify the expense. Jack was keen to leave the provider, and Nick was keen to help him do so.
The old provider was hard to get hold of around this time, and as the domain name had been registered by them originally, Jack was unable to take the domain name with him without jumping through hoops with the likes of Nominet. So, on Nick’s advice, Jack agreed to forgo the old domain and purchase a new one – and so cheshiresprayingservices.com was born.
GreatSite 4U designed an eye-catching, fully responsive WordPress website for Jack and installed plugins such as Litespeed and ShortPixel to ensure that the site loads quickly (a key factor in Google’s ranking algorithm). GS4U also installed the TrustIndex Google Reviews widget on the homepage so that visitors could see straight away how good Jack is (and he is good – you should see Nick’s front door!).

Within a few short months, the new website was ranking on Google and Jack was receiving enquiries from it. Jack was thrilled with the service he received from us, which was a far cry from the previous provider.
